Hi Ani, love this, especially because I just realized a few days ago I was like bullying myself with perfectionism. The fact that you used the same word struck me! :) The picture with this man is so beautiful, you infused self-compassion in the street... this is such a powerful way to heal, to me it means a lot since I have trouble with "normal" activism... your art is discreet yet very powerful. :)
I’m going to show this to my daughter tonight 🥹 she is still a kid but has been very self-critical since the pandemic began and she gained some weight. I think this will help 💓
Even if we start noticing when that voice becomes a bully, that's a perfect first step and a moment to practice switching it to a more friendly one ❤️❤️❤️
We deserve to know that we will always have our own backs ❤️

Hi Marion!
Thank you so much for writing!
And ooh!
You know?
The word activism hadn't even occurred to me when doing my little street art installation. But I kinda like it, actually!
In the dictionary, an activist is defined as: "a person who campaigns to bring about political or social change"
Yes! We need to make some changes. Even if those changes are in the self.
What about a self-love inner activist? :P
Or something like that!
I hope you can call your friend within next time you find yourself bullying yourself.
You're a miraculous thing and you deserve love... lots of it!!
Big big hugs
(actually I prefer the word artivist. ;) ) Hugs.
Oooh!! I like it! ❤️

Hi Alisha!
Aw, yes! I feel like a moment when we definitely need to call The Friend Within from time to time is when we're in front of the mirror.
Please give a big hug to your daughter from me ❤️❤️❤️
I love this! Such a great way to remind us to be kind and caring to ourselves and shift that mean little voice inside to that of a friend. 💜
Thank you so much Valerie!
It really works!

Wow! This is such a beautiful story!
Thank you so so much, big big hugs my dearest ❤️❤️❤️
